Java Full Stack Developer (2 Year Contract)

Job Summary

You will be working with our client who are well renowned in the public and financial sector. You will be responsible for independently developing and maintaining a full-stack web application by gathering requirements, designing databases, implementing search functionality, and delivering well-tested, maintainable solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and maintain a web application and related technologies
• Implement both frontend and backend components of the web application
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Design and implement database schema and queries
• Develop and implement search functionality
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Perform testing and debugging
• Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Java web application development
• Strong expertise in Java/Nodejs/Springboot framework for backend development
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Experience in SQL and database design
• Experience in implementing search functionality and optimization
• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology
• Analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Motivated and self-driven, with ability to learn new concepts and tools in a short period of time
• Team player with ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in automated testing and debugging
• Interest in developing high-quality web applications
• Knowledge in blockchain/smart contract is a plus
