Job Description
• Work with teams to conceptualize, design and create drawings for mechanical parts, mechanisms and modules for material handling in semiconductor and surface mount inspection equipment.
• Assemble and test final hardware; Create product drawings and project documents.
• Communicate with internal and external to fine tune specifications.
• Evaluate and select manufacturing methods and materials.
• Conduct design reviews and discussions with cross functional teams to resolve issues and optimize designs.
• Define and execute test plans for design verification.
• Experience with machine vision concepts and requirements.
• Perform thermal, structural, tolerance and vibration analysis.
Core Responsibilities

Experience
• 3+ years of direct relevant experience in mechanism design, designing custom machines and fabricated parts.
• GD&T drawing and detailing (ANSI Y14.5).
• Intermediate/Expert knowledge in PTC Creo, Windchill and SAP.
• Experience and familiarity with semiconductor and surface mount assembly equipment design and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization with global engineering collaboration.
Education
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.

• Must work well in teams with other Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing.
