Job Summary • To handle pipe removal onboard, templating, fitting and re-installation works • Carry out hotwork activities like grinding, gas cutting and drilling. • Perform pressure testing of spools / systems when required • Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD Key Responsibilities • Responsible for accuracy of pipe fit up, maintain proper edge preparation and root pass gap. • Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness. • To ensure personal safety and others inclusive. • In due diligence, to report any defects found on any tools and equipment to their foreman/supervisor. • Always maintain good housekeeping and safety at all the time onboard vessel & workshop. Key Requirements • 2 Years above with relevant working experience (Prefer in Marine & Maritime industry). • Good communication skills. • Good Knowledge of pipe fittings and pipe welding. • Competent to provide ideas/alternatives in delivering the assigned work. • Able to identify problem and take corrective actions.
