DevSecOps Engineer | Contract

Job Scope:
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable deployments, infrastructure automation, and integration of security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment workflows.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, API Gateway).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Support environment setup, configuration, and promotion across DEV, UAT, and PROD.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and support incident resolution.
• Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to ensure smooth and secure releases.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets scanning).
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Manage access controls, IAM policies, and secure configuration standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architectures.
• Experience working in Linux environments with shell scripting.
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD best practices, version control, branching strategies, and release management.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or managed container services.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security tooling.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and compliance frameworks.
