LTSA Engineer - Gas Turbine - Oil & Gas

Job Description

• Provide technical support to customers, ensuring technical issues and requirements are clearly understood and resolved in a timely manner

• Respond to internal and external technical requests using strong product knowledge and sound engineering principles

• Prepare and present technical documentation, including instructions, procedures, reports, specifications, and proposals

• Proactively support customers in implementing Technical Information notices to improve plant performance

• Identify potential equipment failures using inputs from remote monitoring systems and expert teams, and work with customers to develop countermeasures

• Analyze, track, and report monthly Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data and KPIs for LTSA performance monitoring and invoicing

• Review and present monthly diagnostic and monitoring reports to customers

• Support after-sales and aftermarket service opportunities

• Travel to customer sites in Singapore for project and technical meetings

• Coordinate with customers and internal/external stakeholders to plan and execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities

• Present maintenance plans and schedules and support dispatch of parts and technical advisory services

• Provide technical advisory support during maintenance activities

• Provide on-site technical support during plant emergencies, including after-hours call-outs

• Support unplanned maintenance and recommissioning of power plants

• Collect and analyze failure data to support investigations of operational, mechanical, instrumentation, and control issues

• Lead or support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare clear investigation reports for internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in gas turbines, steam turbines, or large-scale rotating equipment (design, installation, commissioning, operation, or maintenance)

• Hands-on experience in on-site troubleshooting and restoring plant operations

• Customer-facing experience working with plant personnel

• Experience coordinating with Field Service and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and drive corrective actions

• Strong technical knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, turbine generators, rotating equipment, control systems, and auxiliary equipment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to prepare clear and concise technical documentation

• Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
