Experiences & Skill Needed:

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
Passion for automation, standardization and best practices.
Relevant IT experience in databases administrations such as the following (but not limited to): MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
Practical experience troubleshooting database and server performance problems.
Hands on experience on database administration minimally as following: System DBA tasks (database management and security), SQL Programming, Database performance tuning and scalability, High Availability technologies and Disaster Recovery, Professional certifications for database and security will be an added advantage.
Experience in cloud technologies, such as the following (but not limited to), will be an added advantage: AWS RDS

Responsibility:

Provision databases with required licenses.
Implement data security and recovery control.
Monitoring health, performance, user access and security.
Managing parameters for database optimization.
Implement configuration management for business continuity plans and automate disaster recovery measures.
Support systems to ensure high degree of usability that is balanced with stringent security requirements.
