Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute enterprise infrastructure and cloud strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Executive accountability for 24×7 global infrastructure operations ensuring uninterrupted service delivery across regions.
  • Provide senior leadership coverage during major incidents or critical escalations, including off-hours when required.
  • Participate in executive escalation bridge calls during high-impact outages.
  • Ensure effective on-call leadership structures and weekend operational governance.
  • Lead modernization initiatives transitioning legacy environments toward hybrid and cloud-native platforms.
  • Drive technology roadmaps covering compute, storage, networks, platform services, and security.
  • Partner with CXOs to align IT infrastructure strategy with enterprise transformation goals.
  • Manage large infrastructure services portfolios with full P&L accountability.
  • Drive margin improvement through automation, consolidation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead contract governance, commercial negotiations, and vendor performance management.
  • Identify growth opportunities and contribute to strategic deal pursuits and account expansion.
  • Lead complex infrastructure transitions, outsourcing engagements, and M&A integrations.
  • Establish governance models ensuring smooth onboarding and operational stabilization.
  • Drive service transformation programs with measurable ROI and business impact.
  • Implement automation, cross-skilling, and consolidation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish robust IT governance frameworks aligned with global compliance standards.
  • Oversee risk management, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to security, audit, and regulatory requirements across regions.
  • Strengthen ITIL and ITSM processes to enhance service quality and accountability.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic reporting on performance, risks, transformation progress, and financial health.

Requirements

  • 25+ years in Enterprise IT Infrastructure, Cloud Operations & Global Service Delivery
  • 15+ years in Large Portfolio Leadership, with a minimum of 10+ years in leading global infrastructure delivery organizations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing multi-million-dollar projects and infrastructure portfolios (at least a minimum of $25 Million USD)
  • Experience in managing large teams of 300-500+ Engineers
  • Demonstrated strong P&L ownership experience
  • Proven experience managing 24x7 global infrastructure operations
  • Strong experience in Investment and Wealth Management
  • Strong experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Experience in managed services or outsourcing environments
  • Strong experience working with enterprise customers in BFSI or large regulated industries
  • Hands on experience in SLA Management.
  • Hand on experience in Customer or Vendor Relationship Management.
  • Experience in Risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Strong experience in hybrid cloud, data centre operations, and platform services.
