Job Description
Finance Transformation & Process Ownership
Act as regional process owner for SAP Finance-related processes (e.g., Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Asset Accounting, Controlling).
Lead and support finance transformation initiatives, including system rollouts, upgrades, and process harmonization.
Drive standardization and best-practice adoption across regional entities in line with global finance templates.
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; design and implement sustainable solutions.
SAP System Leadership (Regional Key User)
Serve as the primary regional SAP Finance key user and subject matter expert.
Translate business and finance requirements into clear functional specifications for IT and external partners.
Support SAP configuration decisions by providing business impact analysis and regional insights.
Coordinate and execute system testing (UAT), defect resolution, and regression testing for finance-related changes.
Ensure data accuracy, system controls, and compliance within SAP.
Stakeholder & Change Management
Act as the main point of contact between regional finance teams, global process owners, IT, and external vendors.
Lead change management activities, including communication, training, and user enablement.
Build strong relationships with senior finance leaders and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Support end users during hypercare periods and ongoing operations.
Reporting, Controls & Continuous Improvement
Ensure financial reporting requirements are met accurately and on time through SAP.
Support internal and external audit requirements related to systems and processes.
Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Stay current on SAP Finance innovations and proactively propose enhancements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in finance, finance systems, or SAP Finance-related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Finance modules (e.g., FI, CO, AA; S/4HANA experience preferred).
Proven experience supporting or leading finance transformation or ERP implementation projects.
Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes and internal controls.
Experience working in a regional or multi-country environment.
