Senior Financial Controller, RSSC, Asia-Pacific

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Control & Reporting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across APAC entities.

• Ensure timely and accurate consolidation and regional reporting.

• Review balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and financial statement accuracy.

• Oversee compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and corporate accounting policies.

• Manage regional audit processes (external and internal).

2. RSSC Governance & Operations

• Oversee finance shared services functions including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Intercompany accounting

  • Fixed assets and reconciliations

• Standardise financial processes and implement best practices across countries.

• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

• Maintain strong internal control framework aligned with SOX/internal policies.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across APAC.

• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

4. Business Partnering

• Act as finance partner to regional operations and functional leaders.

• Provide financial insights and performance analysis.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop regional finance teams within the RSSC.

• Coordinate with country finance heads and global finance leadership.

• Drive finance transformation and change initiatives.
