Senior Network Engineer (Network Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of an enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with internal IT teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, routing, and switching infrastructure

• Monitor network performance and availability to ensure service reliability

• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of network incidents

• Implement network upgrades and optimisation initiatives in accordance with best practices

• Support business and IT requirements through cross-functional collaboration

• Maintain documentation on network configurations, changes, and incidents

• Ensure compliance with organisational network security policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent

• Strong experience in switching technologies (VLAN, STP, trunking, port security)

• Hands-on experience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP)

• Experience configuring and supporting enterprise networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)

• Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and F5 Load Balancers

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point)

• Knowledge of network security concepts (IDS/IPS, VPN, Zero Trust)

• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)

• Exposure to cloud networking environments
