UI/UX Designer

What The Role Is You are responsible for the user experience and user interface design of digital products created by the centre. What You Will Be Working On • Facilitate product vision by conducting research, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing for digital products • Translate ideas into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for intuitive user experiences • Consult stakeholders to understand goals and challenges, proposing user-centric improvements for SAF users • Lead user research activities through workshops, focus groups, interviews, and surveys, turning insights into actionable recommendations • Iterate on ideas to develop storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes that demonstrate value • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions for core and new features • Ensure alignment with corporate design systems, incorporating usability and positive customer experience • Collaborate with content manager to create visual designs that align with branding and marketing objectives Challenge(s) • Balancing user needs with design solutions • Understanding and familiarising internal standards and processes What We Are Looking For • At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design with a portfolio demonstrating experience in service design, design research, interaction design and product strategy • Experience in agile and UX development environments is preferred • Good understanding of fundamentals of user-centred design • Keen interest in digital technology and ability to clearly communicate and explain design decisions to stakeholders • Familiar with popular design tools and software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite • Ability to manage resources to achieve targets and objectives • Frontend development/web development technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design is advantageous Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
