Senior Systems Integration Engineer (Railway Systems)

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Principal Engineer to support and lead railway systems integration and interface management activities from project initiation through testing and commissioning. This role involves close coordination with customers, contractors, consultants, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful system delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise system interface engineers in a live site environment

• Manage systems integration and interface coordination across railway subsystems

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers on ISCS interface matters

• Conduct technical coordination meetings with customers, consultants, and system-wide contractors (SWCs)

• Plan, manage, and track interface testing, integration testing, and commissioning schedules

• Work closely with software development teams to support ISCS software development and Integrated Testing & Commissioning (ITC)

• Prepare, review, and manage interface control documents (ICD), interface design documents (IDD), and operational interface documentation

• Identify, track, and resolve system and software interface issues to meet project timelines and quality requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in railway systems, transportation systems, or mission-critical infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of systems integration, interface management, and testing & commissioning

• Experience working with multiple stakeholders including customers, vendors, and consultants

• Good communication, coordination, and customer management skills

• Able to work under pressure and deliver projects within tight schedules

• Strong self-management skills with the ability to lead teams and work collaboratively
