Project Manager

Our client provides marine and offshore support services to the shipping, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors, with a focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence. They offer expertise in logistics, vessel support, inspection, and project management, helping clients operate efficiently in challenging environments. Due to growth and rising demand, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager.

Reporting to the Project Director, this person is required to:

·       Oversee marine and offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and adherence to safety and quality standards

·       Lead the planning and implementation of projects from initiation through completion

·       Define project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and resource requirements

·       Assemble, coordinate, and provide direction to project teams

·       Manage project budgets, including approval of AFEs as required

·       Allocate resources effectively and monitor utilization

·       Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines

·       Track deliverables and project performance using appropriate tools

·       Monitor progress and report updates regularly to the Director

·       Prepare and present reports outlining progress, risks, issues, and solutions

·       Implement and manage project changes

·       Conduct project evaluations and assess outcomes against objectives

·       Ensure quality assurance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle

·       Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis

Requirements

·       Min. 15 years of experience in offshore drilling, shipyard construction, and mechanical engineering, progressing from hands-on maintenance roles to senior superintendent positions.

·       Extensive leadership in construction, commissioning, and completion of complex offshore assets such as FPSOs, MODUs, drill ships, and turret mooring systems across global projects.

·       Solid understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies

·       Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively

·       Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·       Strong expertise in asset integrity, reactivation, upgrades, and regulatory compliance, includingSPS recertifications and lifecycle extension projects.

·       Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and OEMs while delivering projects on schedule and within budget, often in high-pressure and remote environments.

·       Skilled in technical planning and execution, including work pack development, design reviews, FATs, commissioning procedures, and maintenance system implementation.
