Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and solid experience in financial management, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The Finance Manager will partner with senior leadership to support business growth, ensure financial integrity, and maintain robust financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end finance functions including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
  • Analyse financial performance, prepare variance reports, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective action where required.

Statutory Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and local tax requirements.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Monitor and manage company cash flow projections and working capital.
  • Manage banking relationships and treasury functions to optimise liquidity.

Team & Process Leadership

  • Supervise finance staff (if applicable), mentor junior team members, and foster a culture of accountability and accuracy.
  • Drive improvements to financial systems and automation where feasible.

Ad-hoc Projects

  • Lead or support finance-related projects such as cost-saving initiatives, or business expansion efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proactive problem-solving ability.
