Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior HR Director, the Manager, Compensation & Benefits will oversee Compensation & Benefits practices, payroll governance, Progressive Wage Model (PWM) compliance, HR systems, and workforce compliance across KFC & Pizza Hut Singapore.
This role is ideal for a HR professional with strong HR Operations or HR Shared Services experience, combined with specialization in Compensation & Benefits, payroll governance, HR systems, and workforce analytics within a high-volume operational environment.
Leading a team of Payroll Executives, this role focuses on compensation governance, payroll oversight, HR systems optimization, statutory compliance, and PWM implementation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
• Manage the organization’s compensation and benefits framework across the business.
• Support salary review, increment, bonus, and rewards exercises.
• Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation analysis.
• Partner with HR and Finance on manpower budgeting and workforce costing.
• Review and improve compensation governance, policies, and practices.
Payroll Governance & PWM
• Lead payroll governance and oversight to ensure compliant and accurate payroll operations.
• Guide Payroll Executives and maintain strong payroll controls and governance practices.
• Ensure compliance with CPF, IRAS, MOM regulations, and payroll statutory requirements.
• Lead and oversee Progressive Wage Model (PWM) implementation and compliance across applicable workforce groups.
• Partner closely with Operations, HR, and Payroll stakeholders to ensure PWM wage structures, job levels, and training requirements are properly implemented and maintained.
HR Systems, Analytics & Reporting
• Drive HR systems optimization and process improvement initiatives across payroll and compensation functions.
• Develop HR dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics to support business decision-making.
• Analyze compensation, payroll, and manpower cost trends to support operational planning.
• Partner with HRIS vendors and stakeholders to improve reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.
Business Partnership
• Partner closely with HR and Operations leaders to support workforce planning and business needs.
• Provide compensation and workforce insights to support attraction and retention strategies.
• Participate in HR and cross-functional projects across the organization.
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource, Business, Accountancy, or related discipline.
• Proven experience within HR Operations or HR Shared Services environments, with specialization in Compensation & Benefits, payroll governance, and HR systems.
• Proven experience leading payroll operations, including oversight of payroll or shared services team members.
• Strong understanding of Singapore employment legislation, payroll compliance, CPF, IRAS, MOM requirements, and Progressive Wage Model (PWM).
• Strong HR systems knowledge and experience working with payroll and HRIS platforms (BIPO or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, workforce analytics, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
• Experience using Power BI or HR analytics/reporting tools will be advantageous.
• Experience supporting high-volume workforce environments such as F&B, Retail, Hospitality, or similar industries will be highly advantageous.
