Backend Engineer Intern, Recommendation (Spring/Summer 2026)

Design and develop Shopee’s core backend recommendation systems to support fast product and business iteration. Optimize online serving engines, recall/ranking modules, and offline data pipelines for efficiency and scalability. Contribute to reusable system components and services for Shopee’s centralized recommendation platform. Research industry trends in recommendation and backend technologies, and apply innovative ideas to business challenges.
