Solutions Architect (Data Center Colocation) | up $9K per month

The Role

Are you a technical specialist from an engineering consultancy or a data center operator looking to move into a high-impact, client-facing strategic role?

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect you will bridge the gap between commercial objectives and technical delivery. You will serve as the primary technical consultant for our regional colocation services, designing bespoke infrastructure for enterprise and hyperscale clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Bespoke Solution Design: Architect tailored layouts for white space and power distribution down to the rack level.

• High-Density Innovation: Provide expert guidance on deploying high-density hardware, specifically integrating liquid cooling and Direct-to-Chip solutions.

• Technical Discovery: Lead engagements to translate client IT roadmaps into power and cooling requirements.

• Proposal Management: Own the technical narrative for RFPs, ensuring compliance with efficiency metrics like PUE and WUE.

• Cross-Border Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between Singapore commercial teams and Malaysia project delivery teams.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is technically grounded and ready to step into a consultancy-led sales environment:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Design, Solutions, or Technical Consulting.

• Industry Background: Direct experience working within a Data Center Operator or an Engineering Consultancy is highly preferred.

• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of M&E infrastructure, including UPS topologies, backup generation, and chilled water systems.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex facility engineering concepts into compelling business value for commercial executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional engineering accreditation or industry certifications such as CDCP or Uptime Institute (ATD).

• Familiarity with green data center initiatives and sustainability metrics.
