The role involves both technical supervision and contract administration, covering works such as fender systems, under-pipe replacements, and berth inspections. The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of procurement procedures and be proficient in using the client’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) for billing and tracking purposes. What You'll Do • Manage and oversee adhoc civil and structural maintenance works, including: • Fender repair and replacement • Under-pipe support and replacement • Structural and berth inspections • Prepare scope of works, cost estimates, and technical documentation • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of works • Administer procurement processes including: • Application of Fixed Schedule of Rates (FSOR) • Preparation and verification of Final Bills of Quantities (FBQ) • Evaluation of variation orders and claims • Utilize the client’s EAMS platform for billing, work tracking, and submission of supporting documentation • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards specific to the port environment • Maintain accurate records of site activities, billing submissions, and contract documentation • Support both engineering and commercial aspects of project execution What You'll Need • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Quantity Surveying • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in marine, port, or infrastructure maintenance projects • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, measurement, and contract administration • Familiar with procurement models such as FSOR and FBQ • Experience using asset management or billing systems (EAMS experience is a plus) • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills • Able to work independently in a fast-paced port environment Service line: None
