Project Engineer – Security Systems [CCTV | Access Control | Intrusion Detection | Project Management]

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, execute, and coordinate project activities with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure successful project completion.
• Monitor and control projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with consultants and owners to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
• Perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.
• Collaborate with sales staff and clients to understand and confirm security requirements.
• Reconfirm security designs and solutions, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other security systems before execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage contractor allocation and procurement of materials with the Project Manager.
• Oversee the installation and integration of security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
• Address technical and malfunction issues during handover stage.
• Provide technical information to Service and Operations teams.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of projects, including design plans and installation records.
• Assist with client and internal training sessions on system operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety protocols, and ISO45001 standards.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and implement best practices for system installation and maintenance.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in site supervision and coordination with owners, main contractors, and subcontractors.
• Hands-on experience with alarm, card access, and CCTV system installation.
