OPH Health Pte. Ltd. is a healthcare technology company focused on medical systems, automation, and digital healthcare solutions across Southeast Asia.
We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Technical Support Engineer to support onsite deployment, customer troubleshooting, and day-to-day technical support for our medical systems.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys practical technical work, can communicate with customers professionally, and is able to take ownership of support issues after training.
Role Overview
The Technical Support Engineer will support the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support of healthcare systems and related equipment.
This is a customer-facing and hands-on technical role. The successful candidate should be comfortable going onsite to customer locations, checking systems and equipment, troubleshooting common technical issues, and following through until issues are resolved or properly escalated.
Training will be provided for company systems and solutions. Over time, the successful candidate is expected to take increasing ownership of technical support operations and help improve support processes as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and support healthcare systems and related equipment at customer sites
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, connectivity, and system-related issues
- Troubleshoot common technical issues independently after training
- Support deployment, testing, commissioning, and handover activities during customer implementation
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks
- Provide basic operational guidance and user support to customers
- Maintain service reports, support records, deployment checklists, and technical documentation
- Follow up on customer issues and ensure timely resolution or proper escalation
- Work with internal engineering, product, and operations teams to resolve technical issues
- Coordinate with Mandarin-speaking internal engineering teams when required
- Identify recurring issues and support improvements to support processes and documentation
- Travel to customer sites in Singapore and overseas when required for deployment or technical support
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, field service, IT support, equipment support, systems support, or related hands-on technical roles
- Able to perform onsite troubleshooting and practical problem-solving
- Basic understanding of hardware, software, networking, system setup, or equipment operation
- Comfortable working directly with customers in onsite environments
- Able to work independently after training and take ownership of assigned support cases
- Good communication, follow-up, and documentation skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, as the role requires customer-facing support in Singapore and regular coordination with Mandarin-speaking internal engineering teams
- Responsible, hands-on, and service-oriented
- Willing to travel for onsite support, deployment, or maintenance assignments when required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing company environment
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will have an added advantage:
- Medical systems, medical devices, healthcare IT, or clinic/hospital environments
- Field service, onsite technical support, equipment installation, or system commissioning
- Basic networking, Windows setup, device connectivity, remote support tools, or application support
- Preventive maintenance, service reporting, or customer technical support documentation
- Experience supporting customers in healthcare, manufacturing, automation, or technical equipment environments
