School Principal (Based in UAE)

About the Role We are partnering with a leading applied and technical education institution in the UAE to appoint an experienced and student-focused School Principal. The School Principal will provide strategic and operational leadership to support academic excellence, student development, faculty engagement, and effective school operations within a dynamic and multicultural learning environment. This role is responsible for fostering a positive school culture, supporting high-quality teaching and learning, and ensuring alignment with institutional objectives, educational standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities School Leadership & Operations • Provide overall leadership and oversight of school operations, administration, and academic activities. • Support the implementation of school strategies, operational plans, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Foster a safe, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment. • Ensure effective coordination across academic and operational teams. Academic Leadership • Support high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. • Monitor academic performance indicators and support improvement initiatives where required. • Partner with academic leadership teams to support curriculum delivery and educational quality. • Promote the effective use of educational technologies and innovative teaching practices. Student Development & Wellbeing • Support initiatives that promote student engagement, wellbeing, attendance, and holistic development. • Foster a positive school culture that encourages respect, collaboration, and lifelong learning. • Work closely with staff, students, and parents to support student success. People Leadership • Lead, coach, and support teaching and administrative staff. • Promote collaboration, professional development, and employee engagement. • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes in line with institutional policies. Stakeholder Engagement • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, industry partners, and external stakeholders. • Represent the school at meetings, events, and partnership engagements. • Support initiatives that strengthen community and industry collaboration. Governance & Compliance • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, educational regulations, and health & safety standards. • Support quality assurance, accreditation, and operational governance activities. • Contribute to risk management and operational continuity planning. Requirements • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Engineering, Science, Technology, Business, or a related discipline. • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience within secondary, technical, vocational, or applied education environments. • Demonstrated leadership experience in school operations, academic management, or educational administration. • Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. • Familiarity with curriculum delivery, quality assurance, and educational regulatory standards is advantageous. • Experience working in multicultural or international education environments is preferred.
