Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of payment projects from initiation to closure
Manage project scope, timelines, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
Ensure alignment across application, platform, infrastructure, and release teams
Coordinate project activities across developers, system analysts, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors
Drive adherence to project governance, delivery methodology, and quality standards
Monitor project progress and provide timely status updates to stakeholders and management
Facilitate issue resolution, escalation management, and technical coordination across teams
Maintain project documentation, issue logs, and reporting
Ensure smooth implementation and transition to post-production support teams
Manage cross-functional teams and offshore delivery partners to ensure delivery excellence
Foster strong collaboration, accountability, and communication across project teams
Ensure projects comply with IT governance, audit, security, and risk standards
Participate in post-implementation review and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of IT Project Management experience within banking or financial services
Strong experience managing payment-related projects, especially in corporate banking and cross-border payments
Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies
Experience managing large-scale system implementation projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong risk management and issue resolution skills
Experience working with offshore teams will be an advantage
PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master, or related certifications will be an advantage
