Job Description

Job Scope:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Technical Lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 with minimum 12 years’ experience who will be responsible for guiding technical solution design, overseeing development quality, and ensuring smooth delivery of system enhancements and support fixes. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM), excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both onsite stakeholders and offshore development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership & Solution Design

  • Lead the technical architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (CE, CRM).
  • Provide expertise on system customization, configuration, integrations, plugins, workflows, and Power Platform components.
  • Review and validate offshore team’s technical designs, code quality, and solution approach.
  • Familiarize with SSIS / KingswaySoft tools used for data migration and/or integration.

2. Hands-on Development & Troubleshooting

  • Perform hands-on configuration, customization, debugging, and code fixes when needed.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across environments (development, UAT, production) and provide root-cause analysis.
  • Develop and deploy fixes, enhancements, and system patches where required.

3. Release Management & Deployment

  • Oversee deployment activities, including build reviews, solution packaging, and environment readiness.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with offshore teams for delivery timelines, sprint planning, and continuous integration.
  • Manage technical dependencies, system integrations, and interface stability.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Act as the escalation point for all technical issues arising from offshore teams or system operations.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices for internal and offshore development teams.

5. Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, ALM processes, DevOps pipelines, and security/compliance requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for technical design, architecture diagrams, configuration, and deployment procedures.
  • Proactively identify system risks, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.

Job Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM).
  • Proficiency in:
  1. Customizations, configurations
  2. C#, .NET, JavaScript
  3. Power Automate, Power Apps
  4. Plugins, integrations, Azure functions, web services (REST/ODATA)
  5. SSIS
  • Proven ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience working with offshore development teams and managing end-to-end delivery.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ALM, and deployment tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional project environments.

Preferably with:

  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications
  • Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault).
  • Knowledge of data migration tools (KingswaySoft) and methodologies.
