ENGINEERING SERVICES MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of large turbine compressors and other rotating equipment.

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

• Supervise and coordinate on-site overhauls of large turbine compressors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements.

• Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams and field technicians.

• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and service providers.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in rotating machinery maintenance.

• Manage budgets, resources, and manpower for maintenance projects.

• Conduct training and mentorship programs for junior engineers and technicians.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and technical discussions, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Fluent in English and Japanese (native-level proficiency in Japanese is required, as it is necessary to liaise work progress with the Japanese stakeholders and customers SV)

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in rotating machinery maintenance and management.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for rotating equipment maintenance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a hands-on approach.
