Director – Cybersecurity (Microsoft Security Solutions)

A leading technology systems integrator is seeking an experienced cybersecurity leader to drive its Microsoft Security advisory and solutions practice across Southeast Asia. This strategic role will accelerate client growth, strengthen alliances, and position the firm as a trusted partner in enterprise security transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the regional cybersecurity strategy focused on Microsoft Security solutions, frameworks, and architectures.
• Act as the senior subject-matter expert across Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, and cloud security stacks.
• Build and strengthen relationships with Microsoft’s security ecosystem, including product, partner, and go-to-market teams.
• Drive business development together with account, alliance, and technical teams to expand the firm’s cybersecurity footprint.
• Provide executive-level advisory to clients on identity, endpoint, cloud, SOC modernisation, and threat protection.
• Guide pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to ensure quality implementation and end-to-end client satisfaction.
• Represent the cybersecurity practice at regional events, industry roundtables, and senior client engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity practitioners across multiple markets.

Requirements

• Senior-level cybersecurity professional with extensive expertise in Microsoft Security technologies.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft’s regional security organisation, solution roadmap, and partner ecosystem.
• Proven experience in consulting, advisory, or enterprise security leadership roles.
• Track record of developing security strategies, leading complex programs, and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
• Ability to work across diverse teams and markets, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in practice leadership, team development, or building security service lines is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SC-100, SC-200/300/400, AZ-500) are beneficial but not mandatory.
