Job Description

An opportunity has arisen with an established organisation for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. This is a technical role suited to candidates with an aptitude for complex problem solving and a genuine curiosity for understanding the functionality, origin and potential impact of cyber threats. The position offers structured training and career development within a collaborative technical team. The successful candidate will have a passion for understanding, discovering and countering cyber threats relevant to Singapore and the wider region.

Responsibilities

  • Collate and analyse threat intelligence from a variety of sources
  • Transform collected information into data formats that can be used for operational security activities
  • Use specialised tools to ingest, analyse and generate threat intelligence
  • Use tools that provide information about internet infrastructure to support investigations
  • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in written and presentation formats
  • Build and sustain working relationships with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to a knowledge sharing culture within the technical team

Requirements

  • Proficiency in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and DNS
  • Working knowledge of structured threat intelligence frameworks such as MISP and TAXII
  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Experience using tools to ingest, analyse and generate threat intelligence
  • Familiarity with cyber threats relevant to the Singapore threat landscape
  • Knowledge of legislative, policy and security frameworks
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge concisely to non-technical audiences, in both written and presentation formats
  • Demonstrated experience working cohesively in a technical team and sharing knowledge with other technical staff
  • Analytical thinking and aptitude for complex problem solving
