Staff Mobile Engineer / Senior Mobile Engineer

Role overview

We are hiring a senior mobile engineer to design, build and scale mobile products across high-volume financial and digital asset use cases. This role is suitable for engineers who are strong across iOS, Android, React Native, or cross-platform mobile development, and who enjoy working on complex product flows involving security, performance, usability, and business logic.

The ideal candidate is not only a strong coder, but also someone who can understand product requirements, reason through business workflows, and use modern AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development velocity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-quality mobile applications across iOS, Android or React Native
• Own complex mobile features from technical design through development, testing, release and post-launch optimisation
• Build reusable components, frameworks and engineering patterns to improve mobile development efficiency
• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA and other engineering teams to deliver scalable product features
• Optimise mobile app performance, reliability, rendering efficiency and user experience
• Review code, improve engineering standards and contribute to architecture decisions
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to support development, debugging, refactoring, testing and documentation
• Translate business and product logic into well-structured technical implementation

Requirements

• Strong experience in mobile engineering using React Native, iOS, Android, Swift, Kotlin, Java, Objective-C, or related technologies
• Experience owning complex product features or technical modules independently
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimisation, API integration and release processes
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers and Backend Engineers
• Strong business/product sense, with the ability to understand why a product flow is designed a certain way
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar as part of engineering workflow
• Strong communication skills in English
• Comfortable working onsite in Singapore

Good to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, trading, crypto, Web3, wallet, superapp or high-scale consumer products
• Experience with KYC, onboarding, authentication, security, payments or transaction-related product flows
• Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical design discussions
