The engineer supports the execution of EPC projects while also assisting in supervision of maintenance activities and providing technical support for maintenance - related sales. The role focuses on site execution, coordination, and technical support across projects and post-handover maintenance works, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery. Key Responsibilities Site Execution & Supervision • Supervise and coordinate site installation works for EPC projects. • Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams. • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety requirements. • Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and resource deployment. Project Management Support • Support the Project Manager in tracking project schedule, work progress, and site milestones. • Assist in preparing site progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and work plans. • Identify site risks, constraints, and interface issues, and escalate them promptly with proposed mitigation measures. • Participate in project meetings and follow up on assigned action items. • Support coordination between engineering, procurement, and site execution teams. Maintenance Works Supervision • Support and supervise maintenance activities for water and wastewater systems, including inspection, troubleshooting, rectification, and minor improvement works. • Coordinate maintenance works with subcontractors, vendors, and site stakeholders. • Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures. • Assist in identifying recurring issues and proposing corrective or preventive actions. Maintenance Sales & Technical Support • Provide technical support to the sales and business development teams for maintenance - related works. • Assist in site surveys, technical assessments, and scope definition for maintenance proposals. • Support preparation of technical inputs for maintenance quotations and proposals. • Participate in discussions with clients on maintenance scope, technical requirements, and execution approach, under guidance from management. Testing, Commissioning & Close-Out • Support testing, flushing, pressure testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities. • Participate in site inspections, punch listing, and close-out of defects. • Assist in compilation of as-built drawings, test records, and handover documentation. Quality, Safety & Compliance • Ensure site works comply with QA/QC requirements, safety regulations, and approved procedures. • Participate in site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections as required. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline). • 2 to 5 years of relevant EPC or construction site experience. • Familiar with EPC project workflows and site execution. • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. • Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills. • Willingness to learn and develop across both project and maintenance scopes. • Strong team player able to work collaboratively with operations, sales, and site teams. • Willing to work on site and during critical project phases.
