SAP Core Security Analyst

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Core Security Analyst to support and enhance enterprise SAP security operations. This role involves working across SAP security tools and platforms, ensuring proactive threat detection, system integrity, and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, release, and maintain threat detection patterns in SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD)
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve security alerts in a timely manner
• Support ETD upgrades and ongoing system improvements
• Configure and manage SAP Focused Run for security monitoring and analytics
• Define and implement security policies across the SAP landscape
• Perform configuration validation and continuous security assessments
• Generate and remediate Security Optimization Service (SOS) reports
• Implement and coordinate SAP Security Notes with relevant stakeholders
• Support rollout and operation of security monitoring tools, including CVA in Focused Run

Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP security, including SAP Enterprise Threat Detection and SAP Focused Run
• Strong understanding of security monitoring, alerting, and incident handling
• Experience in SAP Solution Manager, including SOS report handling and SAP Note implementation
• Knowledge of security policy definition and compliance validation
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Guided Procedures in SAP
• Understanding of Simple Diagnostics Agent (SDA) and Configuration and Change Database (CCDB)
• Basic knowledge of XML or similar technologies used in SAP configurations
