Test Automation Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

About the Role

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support automated testing initiatives for enterprise-scale systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts, while contributing to test automation frameworks and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Execution

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation frameworks
• Support automation frameworks, regression execution, and automation enablement initiatives
• Build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites
• Execute test scripts, log defects, track issues, and perform re-testing

Test Design & Analysis

• Review existing automation landscape, including tools, scripts, and coverage
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define test scenarios
• Identify test data requirements and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain necessary data
• Design and implement automation test scenarios to support execution

Framework & Tools Support

• Work across multiple automation tools depending on system requirements
• Support environments with varying toolsets and frameworks
• Contribute to integration or enhancement of AI-assisted testing or productivity tools

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices (Good to Have)

• Leverage automation accelerators and reusable assets
• Recommend and implement best practices in enterprise test automation
• Participate in process improvements and efficiency enhancements
• Support knowledge sharing and capability uplift initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, or API automation
• Experience in building and executing automated regression test suites
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale or complex systems
• Ability to work across multiple tools and adapt to different environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Advantage

• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or automation enhancements
• Experience in enterprise environments with diverse automation ecosystems
• Knowledge of test frameworks and best practices
