Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex projects across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong project governance capabilities, stakeholder management expertise, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership to drive project execution, manage risks, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Track project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, management teams, vendors, and project sponsors to ensure successful project execution.
• Facilitate project steering committee meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates and reporting.
• Drive alignment across multiple teams and departments.

Risk & Governance Management

• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
• Develop mitigation plans and escalation strategies where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project governance frameworks and standards.
• Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to quality assurance requirements.

Team Leadership

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams comprising business, technology, operations, and vendor resources.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members and junior project managers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance project environment.

Continuous Improvement

• Conduct project reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, methodologies, and delivery practices.
• Promote best practices across project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects with budgets exceeding SGD 1 million.
• Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience in project governance, planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Strong risk management, issue management, and change management experience.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
