About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in software development and cloud infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deploying microservices, managing cloud environments, and ensuring seamless application delivery.

This role requires a blend of development (Python/Node.js) and DevOps expertise to support scalable, secure, and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Support applications by troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and ensuring smooth operation.

• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.

• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure) , including scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Work with containerization (Docker) and assist with orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Collaborate with development and platform teams to ensure smooth integrations and deployments.

• Raise and manage Service Requests (SR) , Change Requests (CR) , and coordinate with cloud/infra teams.

• Provide instructions and support to other application teams when needed.

• Participate in client projects as requested.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience in software development and DevOps.

• Strong programming background in Python and Node.js.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Proven knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and architecture patterns.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• Experience with Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/SDLC environments.

Nice-to-Have (Good to Have)

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Engineer or equivalent cloud certifications.

• Experience with modern web frameworks (React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+).

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (SR/CR management).
