Staff Thermal Engineer (Test Cell Solutions)

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer to develop and optimize advanced thermal test solutions for semiconductor devices. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design, validate, and improve thermal test platforms used in high-performance semiconductor applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal test solutions for semiconductor devices across multiple test applications
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust test coverage and system performance
• Analyze thermal test data and drive improvements in test methodologies and system design
• Support product validation, characterization, and qualification activities
• Work closely with customers and partners to optimize test solutions and deployment outcomes
• Provide technical guidance and support cross-functional engineering problem-solving
• Ensure manufacturability and scalability of thermal test platforms with internal operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 8–15 years of experience in semiconductor or thermal engineering-related fields
• Strong understanding of thermal systems, heat transfer, and semiconductor device behavior
• Experience in thermal simulation, modelling, or test development
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. JMP, MATLAB or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders
