T24 Technical Architect / Senior Developer

Role Overview

The T24 Technical Architect / Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions on the Temenos T24 (Transact) platform, with a strong focus on Private Banking modules. This role acts as a senior technical contributor and technical lead, translating complex functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance T24 solutions while supporting integrations, STP processes, and enterprise-grade deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

• Design and develop solutions on Temenos T24 / Transact, acting as a senior developer and technical lead

• Translate functional and business requirements into efficient, fit-for-purpose technical designs

• Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices

• Support delivery milestones and drive technical execution to overcome challenges

T24 Platform & Private Banking Expertise

• Deliver solutions across Private Banking modules

• Implement and support SWIFT messaging, STP processes, and integration patterns

• Design and develop solutions using TAFJ, COB, and T24 Services framework

• Work with multi-company and multi-application server environments

Integration & Architecture

• Design and implement integrations using:

  • Integration Framework

  • Outbox Event Streaming

  • Interaction Framework (IRIS)

  • MQ, JBOSS

• Support end-to-end interfacing with internal and external systems

Development Tools & Environment

• Hands-on development using:

  • Design Studio

  • Source code repositories

  • Job schedulers

  • SQL Developer

• Develop and deploy solutions in cloud environments

• Use Temenos Unit Test Framework to ensure code quality

Performance, Upgrade & Operations Support

• Support T24 upgrades and migration activities

• Assist with performance optimisation and data archiving initiatives

• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as:

  • Tivoli

  • Dynatrace

  • Splunk or equivalent

• Work with Oracle DB concepts relevant to T24 and Linux scripting

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with business users, architects, analysts, and infrastructure teams

• Communicate technical designs, risks, and progress clearly

• Demonstrate strong ownership, work ethics, and service attitude

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 9+ years of relevant T24 experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with:

  • T24 R23 and above

  • TAFJ R23 and above

• Strong expertise in Private Banking modules

• Proven experience with:

  • SWIFT messaging and STP

  • T24 Integration Frameworks

  • COB and Services framework

• Experience with cloud-based T24 deployments

• Strong understanding of multi-company and distributed T24 architecture

Desirable Skills

• Experience with T24 upgrades and migration best practices

• Knowledge of T24 performance tuning and data archiving

• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Tivoli)

• Strong understanding of deployment architecture and infrastructure

• Oracle DB and Linux scripting experience
