Senior Project Manager / Project Director (Data & AI) – Manila, Philippines (EOR)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director (Data & AI) to lead and govern large-scale Data and AI consulting projects based in Manila, Philippines, under an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. This role carries end-to-end accountability for project delivery, governance, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement across complex, multi-disciplinary programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale Data & AI projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of 1,000–4,000 man-days of work to meet client objectives
• Own project P&L by developing budgets, controlling costs, and driving profitability to achieve financial targets
• Define and enforce project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, and operating models to ensure consistent and high-quality execution
• Structure, manage, and lead cross-functional project teams to foster collaboration and deliver integrated solutions
• Ensure delivery quality, adherence to timelines, proactive risk management, and compliance with contractual obligations
• Serve as the primary liaison for senior client stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project goals
• Manage scope changes, change requests, and commercial negotiations to maintain project viability and client satisfaction
• Support consulting and pre-sales activities by drafting and reviewing contracts and Statements of Work (SOW)
• Define delivery approaches and project governance models to support scalable and repeatable project execution
• Collaborate on solution design and proposal reviews to align offerings with client needs and strategic objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in Data, Analytics, or AI projects
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects (1,000–4,000 man-days) with effective resource allocation and capacity planning
• Strong skills in business requirements gathering and analysis to translate client needs into actionable plans
• Expertise in project planning, delivery methodologies, and governance to drive successful outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide executive-level reporting in English

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience managing projects within banking or financial services sectors
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to facilitate stakeholder coordination in relevant contexts
