Senior Network Engineer / Administrator

Our Client, a Prestigious leading firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer/Administrator for the IT department.

Location: Central Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily network operations (on-premises and cloud) for Singapore’s office and its regional office in Asia. Ensure network security, compliance, and business continuity. Report to Infrastructure Manager.
• Manage network projects (planning, design, implementation)
• Troubleshoot network issues (routers, switches, wireless, load balancers)
• Monitor and optimize network performance
• Ensure network security and compliance
• Collaborate with teams on network security policies and procedures
• Perform daily health checks and capacity planning
• Manage and maintain Data Center facilities, cleanliness and security
• Liaise with vendors and network carriers to ensure services are met according to the Service Level Agreement
• Provide 24/7 level 2 support relating to all network issues

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in IT/Computer Engineering or any related field of studies
• Possess 4 to 5 years of related Network experience
• Candidates must be familiar with L2/L3 experience in network and multi-cloud environment
• Proficient in implementing and managing network routing protocols/technologies such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPV6,MPLS, QoS and network security.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification is of an added advantage but non-essential
• Possess ITIL knowledge, including but not limited to service and Change management
• Good communication skills
