Data Analyst (Govt | 12 months | PowerBI)

Job Title: Data Analyst
Duration: 12 months contract
Location:
Salary: $3000-$3600
Eligibility: Only Singaporeans

Job Purpose:
• To create reports and dashboards to support the unit’s policy analysis and decision making through datadriven approaches
• To automate the reports and analyses where possible through tools or scripts
• To ensure data processing and cleaning / correction is done to ensure reports are accurate

Responsibilities:
• To develop reports and / or dashboards based on datasets used across volunteer management operations, board processes and existing monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with business/process owners to understand requirements and develops routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards in line with these requirements
• Acquire data from primary/secondary data sources and analyse results using statistical techniques
• Perform data cleaning/wrangling/mining to uncover underlying trends
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance guidelines
• Focuses on descriptive and diagnostics statistical techniques to obtain insight e.g. regression
• Develop interactive visualisation tools/dashboards for decision making
• Define, formulate and manage data principles and fields, ensuring a robust data architecture with structures in place to filter data fields as necessary

Requirements:
• Proficient in English language.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, applied mathematics/statistics or business analytics or advanced diploma in data-related fields
• Fresh Graduates with relevant internship experience may apply
• At least two years of relevant experience in statistical analysis and data visualisation
• Proficient in more than one of the following technologies: Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense
