Job Description

Responsible for overseeing sub-contracting works such as obtaining supplies, materials, equipment or services within approved contractual tasks. Perform purchase order management process to all PMD parts such as, issuing purchase orders, confirmation of delivery of supplies for purchased and returned parts, and processing payment to suppliers promptly, etc. in order to ensure parts/services needed by the company are delivered on time based on specific requirements. • Purchase and monitor the on-time delivery of materials, components and services to meet the factory's requirements on part and services deliverables • Connect and interact with suppliers on the supplies logistics matter such as availability of parts, delivery date, lead time, mode of delivery etc. through conference calls, on-site meetings • Ensure routine purchasing deliverables are communicated, maintained, escalated and settled amongst internal and external stakeholders on a timely manner • Address outstanding Project Requirements Planning (PRP) and Change Control System (CCS) affecting project to meet program/ business requirements • Implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to enable tactical buying to meet business goals • Review and discuss Liability Purchase Order (LPO), Supply Chain Order (SPO), Material Liability Agreement (MLA) buffer stock agreements with suppliers if there are discrepancies • Manage supplier relationship to maintain and develop a win-win situation • Evaluate supplier's performance in order to maintain a constructive supplier's database that aim to achieve business goals & needs • Support and participate in company continuous improvement program Requirements • Diploma in Engineering/Materials/Industrial Engineering or other relevant discipline • Minimum 1 year of experience handling sub-contracting in manufacturing industry or equivalent • Good problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
