Account Executive (Fixed Assets |Up to $6K |Excel)

We’re looking for an Accounting Executive (Fixed Assets) to support fixed asset accounting for a government Shared Services Centre. The role focuses on ensuring the asset register is complete, accurate, and audit-ready, especially for development assets and assets under construction.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate period-end reporting for fixed assets

• Perform reconciliations and follow up on mismatches with supporting evidence

• Review transactions and development expenditure to determine correct accounting treatment before capitalisation

• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to strengthen FA controls and adherence to SOPs

• Help with automation and process improvement efforts (e.g., dashboards/RPA initiatives)

You should have:

• Strong Excel skills and comfort with data checks and number-heavy work

• Strong accounting knowledge related to capitalisation of development expenditure

• Meticulous, analytical, and able to operate independently

• Audit experience is a plus
