DevSecOps Engineer

Position: DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer for one of our esteemed clients to build and operate secure, cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and on-prem environments, enabling scalable CI/CD for containerized microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
• Deploy and operate AWS ECS (Fargate) services and supporting AWS components (S3, RDS, IAM, networking)
• Provision and manage GCP Kubernetes (GKE) clusters using Terraform
• Ensure configuration and environment consistency across on-prem SIT and cloud staging environments
• Implement and enforce IAM policies, secrets management, and network security controls
• Integrate automated security scanning, compliance checks, and policy enforcement into CI/CD workflows
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve reliability and scalability
• Maintain clear and comprehensive architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS ECS (Fargate) and core AWS services
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, preferably GKE (kubectl, Helm)
• Proven use of Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (IAM, VPC networking, secrets management)
• Proficiency in Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Demonstrates strong ownership, clear communication, and effective collaboration across teams and environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC frameworks

Job Type: Contract - 1 Year (Extendable)
Salary Range: S$7,000 - S$9,000
