Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and drive the implementation of secure, automated, and scalable cloud infrastructure within a government environment. The role requires close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure cloud systems are robust, compliant, and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cloud security frameworks, policies, and processes

• Automate cloud operations to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security

• Write and manage Terraform scripts for infrastructure management, including tasks such as:

  • Updating IP addresses

  • Modifying API Gateway WAF rules

  • Configuring Route 53 settings

• Ensure cloud environments are secure, continuously monitored, and compliant with relevant standards

• Collaborate with development teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines

• Conduct audits and monitor cloud resources to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud security tools, including AWS security services and third-party solutions

• Continuously review and update security policies to address emerging threats and maintain compliance

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in DevSecOps and cloud security practices

• Hands-on experience establishing cloud security processes and automation pipelines

• Strong expertise in AWS services and CLI usage

• Proficient in Terraform for managing and automating cloud infrastructure

• Experience automating tasks such as IP management, WAF rules, and DNS configurations

• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government systems or familiarity with IM8 compliance standards

• Relevant certifications such as:

  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  • DevSecOps or cloud security certifications

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD frameworks
