M&E Engineer (Electrical, Infrastructure Projects)

About us:

Our Client are looking for an M&E Engineer to support electrical design, coordination, and site execution for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical design including lighting (lux calculations), cable sizing, routing, and scheduling
• Design and implement earthing and lightning protection systems
• Develop fire alarm and detection system designs
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Prepare method statements, technical drawings, and documentation
• Plan and allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) for electrical works
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams on inspections and technical matters
• Ensure works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
• Prepare daily site reports, inspection requests, and progress reports
• Support testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Familiar with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp
• Good understanding of electrical systems, standards, and site coordination
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
