Step into a hands-on senior engineering role where you’ll design and manage enterprise-grade infrastructure environments across virtualisation, hyper-converged platforms, and Microsoft ecosystems.

This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, lead technical initiatives, and gain exposure to modern infrastructure technologies like Nutanix HCI and VMware vSAN.

What You’ll Be Doing

🔹 Virtualisation & HCI (Core Focus)

• Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments

• Administer VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN) platforms

• Optimise VM performance, capacity, and lifecycle management

• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements

🔹 Windows Server & Active Directory

• Manage Windows Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022) environments

• Administer Active Directory (AD DS, GPOs, security policies)

• Manage AD CS, AD FS, DNS, and DHCP services

🔹 Operations & Technical Leadership

• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning

• Troubleshoot complex cross-platform infrastructure issues

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks

🔹 Security & Compliance

• Perform security hardening and patch management

• Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards

• Conduct regular system health checks and vulnerability assessments

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in Wintel infrastructure and virtualisation environments

• Hands-on expertise in:

  • VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN)

  • Nutanix HCI (highly preferred)

  • Windows Server & Active Directory services

• Solid understanding of infrastructure performance tuning and optimisation

• Experience in backup, DR, and high-availability environments

• Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure issues

• Prior experience in 24/7 support or standby environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
