Job Description

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer:

Requirements

  • At least 1–3 years of relevant infrastructure support and OS administration experience
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience managing production application support
  • Knowledge of MQ, Elasticsearch, and AWS is preferred
  • Hands-on experience in RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration, and shell scripting
  • Good command of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace is an advantage
  • Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to drive meetings and coordinate stakeholders

Job Description

Infrastructure Management

  • Drive infrastructure project lifecycle — from server provisioning to cutover
  • Work with infrastructure and application teams on requirements gathering through implementation
  • Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify gaps
  • Perform RHEL OS patching and other administration tasks for cloud projects
  • Guide application teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues
  • Act as SME for Linux administration and automation

Operations & Process

  • Prepare technical project plans for new initiatives in the BAU environment
  • Collaborate with application teams and other infrastructure teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements
  • Drive onboarding of new applications into the production environment

Security & Compliance

  • In accordance with the bank’s security directives, assist in deploying, maintaining, and enhancing the security of all infrastructure systems
  • Implement administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, including: Change and configuration management, Anti-virus measures, Patch management, System scans
