Network Security Engineer

Our client, a leading Global Cyber Security Distributor is recruiting for a Network Security Engineer (post sales)

Job Location: Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the sales and product teams to support solution design, implementation, and customer success

• Provide post-sales technical support, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network security solutions

• Act as the technical point of contact for customers during and after implementation

• Conduct system testing, acceptance, and documentation to ensure successful delivery

• Assist in resolving escalated technical issues and provide timely root-cause analysis

• Deliver knowledge transfer, technical training, and best-practice guidance to customers

• Perform any other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT security sector, with a technical background in network engineering, particularly in firewall implementation/deployment.

• Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS

• Proficient in firewall solutions such as [specific firewalls, e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet].

• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and core principles of network security.

• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.

• Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP model, network security, and related protocols.

• Palo Alto certified is a mandatory requirement.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
