IT Manager (Healthcare)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Direct the IT department by managing team performance, setting clear priorities, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical outcomes.
• Innovation Roadmap: Shape and execute the company’s technology strategy, specifically targeting advancements in business applications, process automation, and AI integration.
• Project Governance: Take full ownership of digital initiatives from initial discovery and scoping through to final implementation and post-launch review.
• Application Management: Oversee the lifecycle and performance of core business systems to ensure they remain scalable and aligned with commercial objectives.
• Efficiency & AI: Proactively identify automation opportunities and leverage AI tools to enhance operational productivity and data-driven decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership to convert complex business requirements into robust, high-performance technology solutions.
• Quality & Standards: Establish and maintain best practices for systems management, IT governance, and continuous process improvement.
• Risk & Reporting: Monitor project risks and system health, providing transparent updates and performance metrics to executive management.
• Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-achieving technical team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. 

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a progressive IT or digital leadership role.
• Execution: A proven track record of managing end-to-end technology projects and digital transformations.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders with sound commercial awareness.
• Forward-Thinking: A strong interest in—or direct exposure to—AI, workflow automation, and data analytics.
