Technical Engineer (Up to $6500 / 5 days / Tagore)

Job Title: Technical Engineer (ID1737)
Location: Tagore
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
Salary: $4500 - $6500

1. Key Result Area 1: Support the sales team by identifying the right INKO products to
meet customers’ requirements
• Develop strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor to facilitate
engineering solutions by working closely with customers and, providing pre-sales
and post-sales support.
• Work with sales teams to interpret customer requirements, deliver solutions and
manage customer expectations with the end-goal of sales in mind.
• Work as a consultant to the sales teams and clients to problem-solve and make
recommendations during the sales process.

2. Key Result Area 2: Provide engineering solutions to resolve customers’ engineering
challenges through troubleshooting
• Offer workable solutions to help solve customers’ problems.
• Participate in technical discussions with the client’s engineering or maintenance
teams and address any process or engineering concerns.
• Be able to think critically and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings
or other client benefits.
• Work with INKO Technical Service Unit to implement engineering solutions for
customers.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing the company’s service
standards.

3. Key Result Area 3: Deliver presentation or in-depth training of INKO
products/solutions to customers.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key
technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects. Effectively
tailor presentations for customers and special events.
• Conduct technical and/or product training for internal and external customers.
• Engage in developing company’s marketing resources whenever necessary.
4. Key Result Area 4: Be an effective contributor to the project team
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends,
market activities, and competitors.
• Communicate and negotiate with Principals/suppliers to bring the most cost-effective
benefits and solutions to customers.
• Act as an intermediary between customers and suppliers to clarify and resolve any
issues relating to technical requirements and specifications.
• Source and broaden INKO’s product range from reliable local/overseas suppliers.

5. Key Result Area 5: Managing Projects
• Develop technical solutions in engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Support the project teams by engaging in technical discussions with customers and
suppliers to ensure that project is delivered on time and with budget.
• Be prepared to offer alternative workable solutions when unforeseen problems surface
during the project execution.
• Ensure all information related to the project is properly documented and stored in
company database.

6. Key Results Area 6: Building and Maintaining Good Relationships with Principles
• Work with our principles to obtain quotations and technical support to
address customers’ needs
• Organise and coordinate visit schedules with the Sales team for the
joint visit to customers
