Working Hour: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary range: $3000 - $4500
Location: Woodlands Ave (Nearest mrt: Admiralty)

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers in the field. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment or machinery at customer sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, servicing, training, and maintenance.
  • The role able to identifies, analyses, and repairs product failure, install new components and parts.
  • Provides service and technical interface between customer and company.
  • Assists engineering with Final Acceptance Test (FAT), and installation prep work.
  • Advise customer on operation, maintenance, and modifications.
  • Provide expert advice to customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and possible system modifications.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The role communicates with management, and the end user to help and implement appropriate resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular updates to the Service Manager to ensure timely handling of all open jobs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to phone support request as assigned.
  • Analyze problems and determine appropriate solutions either individually or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Promote and sell value-added services, including spare parts, system upgrades, and service contracts, during customer visits or when opportunities arise.
  • Turn in accurate detailed reports in a timely manner. Respond promptly to all customer service issues.
  • Support engineering with ongoing product development and improvement projects.
  • Take initiative to remain current with emerging technologies and equipment updates.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

  • Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical preferred.
  • Proven min 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
