Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of hazardous waste treatment lines (evaporation, centrifuges, filtration), ensuring safe operation, quality, and throughput.
Optimize operating conditions based on waste characteristics (moisture/oil/salinity/solids) and monitor key parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, speed, concentration, flux); troubleshoot deviations promptly.
Develop and execute production plans based on incoming waste streams and orders; coordinate manpower, equipment availability, and capacity.
Manage consumables and critical spares to control cost and minimize downtime.
Drive inspections, preventive maintenance, and reliability improvements with the maintenance team; reduce unplanned shutdowns.
Maintain strong housekeeping/5S and disciplined site management.
Lead production teams (shift planning, training, competency development, performance reviews); ensure compliance with SOPs, EHS, and regulatory requirements; participate in RA/MOC.
Support sales/commercial teams with technical feasibility for new waste streams, capacity/timeline inputs, constraints, and cost considerations; provide regular production updates and risk flags.
Maintain production documentation and reports; support government/customer/internal audits and inspections.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Chemical/Environmental/Process/Mechanical Engineering preferred).
Minimum 10 years industrial production line experience (hazardous waste/ chemical/ environmental/ resource recovery preferred) with proven plant/operations management experience.
Hands-on experience in evaporation (multi-effect/MVR), industrial centrifuges (decanter/disc-stack), and/or solid-liquid separation/filtration (filter press/bag/candle).
