Data Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the master data management (MDM) system, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure that data is accurately maintained and efficiently published to downstream systems in real-time.

Requirement:

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good SQL skills in Postgres/Oracle RDBMS.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on software development skills with experience in multiple data-related projects in Java (Spring, Maven).
• Possess a positive learning and collaborative mindset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• 24x7 on-call support and able to work on planned activities during the weekends/public holidays as and when required.

Good to have:

• Familiar with DevOps tools, CICD cycle, and GitHub.
• Experience in BMC Control-M.
• Experience in a Linux environment.
• Some background in AWS technologies will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in the financial or investment industry is an added advantage.
